Physical World

The world is a complex mix of physical systems which interact to create the wide variety of environmental conditions on planet Earth. Air and water pollution, soil erosion, deforestation, desertification, global warming, and the exhaustion of natural resources all seriously degrade the environment and its vulnerability to natural disasters.
